Mind and Body Martial Arts (Jim Moltzan) offers classes for Qigong, Tai Chi and other martial arts exercises as they relate to fitness, stress relief and overall wellness. Also available for purchase on this site, are exercise charts and study guides of some of the material covered in my classes as well as many informational videos.
I am also available for other local weekly classes, lectures, and seminars for 1/2 day, full day & potential weekend events.
Many of these videos are my interpretation of Baguazhang, also known as Pakua or "circle walking". Also Qigong, sometimes known as Chi Kung or "energy exercises". Others show Ship Pal Gi, which generally translates to "18 Chi movements" or Korean kung fu training. Included are exercises form yoga or other alternate methods of fitness that have stood the test of time, or at the very least the 37 years I have been practicing and teaching them. Not all of these videos are of the highest video quality; sorry. Footage is recorded wherever I can find an open space and some shade. You will see me sweating and occasionally making an error in my grammar; again sorry but this is me doing the exercises and producing them to get the message out. The quality of the "content" is what I find to be most important. In order to understand the "context" I recommend personal instruction. Technology has been changing faster than I have been able to keep up. Videos will be from a few minutes in length to the maximum of 20 minutes.
